About our Italian classes
Italian is spoken exactly as it is written, which makes it unusually kind to beginners: get the vowels right early and you will be understood almost immediately. We build on that, prioritising speaking and listening over written exercises.
Coursework runs A1 through B1 on the CEFR ladder, covering everyday conversation, travel situations and the cultural context that makes the language click. Classes are online, 1:1 or small-batch.
We encourage flexible learning, providing 1:1 sessions and small batches that fits your schedule.

- Which Italian levels do you teach?
- A1, A2 and B1.
- Is Italian easy to learn?
- It is one of the more approachable languages for English speakers — consistent spelling, consistent sounds, and quick early progress in speaking.
- Are classes 1:1 or in a group?
- Both. We run 1:1 sessions and small batches, scheduled around your availability — including evenings and weekends for working professionals and students in other time zones.
- Can I start Italian with no background at all?
- No prior knowledge is needed. Complete beginners start at the first level and we place returning learners after a short conversation, so you begin where you actually are rather than where a syllabus assumes you are.
